The year is 1940. Pushed back toward Dunkirk and facing the German occupation of much of France, British and French forces are in dire straits. Little do they know how much worse their world is about to get. In Rotterdam, German scientists working on a secret occult program have succeeded in opening a gate to another realm. The parallel worlds of Earth and Aerth are now connected, allowing fantastic creatures and magic to flow into our world. Unfortunately for both the Allied and Axis powers, the inhabitants of Aerth have their own agenda and a third side to the War in Europe is born. Aerth’s armies, under the guidance of the human wizard Hagirr, have plans that go beyond conquest. Quickly realizing the potential of the new threat, the Germans scramble to establish a truce with their human adversaries. While World War II in Europe may be on hold, the real battle for the fate of humanity is about to begin as the dead of World War I rise from the ground and take up arms against their former countrymen.
