Originally released on 10 May 1984. Twisted Sister performed the song “Burn in Hell” during a cameo appearance in the 1985 film Pee–wee’s Big Adventure. The two songs that comprise the Horror–Teria segment became the basis of Twisted Sister lead singer Dee Snider’s 1998 film Strangeland, in which Captain Howdy was played by Snider himself. Artwork: “We were going through the pictures, and that picture came up—the last shot that we took of me crouched in the corner, trapped like an animal. That’s what was in my mind: I was this trapped rat, cornered, ready to fight for whatever is left on this piece of bone. That says Stay Hungry. That represents Twisted Sister. That’s the image. And, bam! That became the cover, and that just put the icing on the cake of making the band more anonymous than ever and me becoming the focal point, the front man, the face, the image, and everything else.” Dee Snider In 2004, the band re–recorded the tracks from this album and re–released them under the title Still Hungry. In 2017, Rolling Stone listed the album at No. 76 on its list of the 100 Greatest Metal Albums of All Time. RIAA certified, multi–platinum album with more than 3,000,000 U.S. sales.
