According to the 1914 census for Moss, Gerhard lived with his father, mother and four siblings - Nils Kristian, Reinhard, Jørgen and Carl Johan (note that the spelling is wrong: Karl is correct) - on the first floor, apartment 4.
The house was, at the time, owned by Carl Jenssen who lived in apartment 1 with his wife Ingeborg Kristine and four children: Hjørdis Magrethe, Jens, Erling and Ingeborg Kari.
Carl Edvard Jensen (note the spelling) was the son of Jørgine Olava and Nils Christian Jenssen. He was the brother of Johan Laurits, Gerhard's father.
